Agnese is a Sicilian researcher and translator with experience in art communication and exhibition organisation, currently based in Marseille.

She is currently developing a curatorial project scheduled to launch in 2026 and recently published La Sbergia, an editorial experiment focused on the urban fabric of Messina. 

Other research projects include an analysis of the effects of ‘Mediterranean Branding’ in Marseille and Palermo and the acceleration caused by COVID-19.

In Marseille, Agnese has contributed to the accessibility strategy of Jeanne Barret, supported Marine Comte’s artist residency, and assisted with the educational activities of the cultural association.

Previously, she lived in London for nearly ten years, where she earned degrees in Art History from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and the Courtauld Institute, as well as worked in various galleries and art organisations. Before moving, she was Gallery Manager at Project Native Informant.

Agnese is looking to contribute to artistic, editorial, and research projects anchored in conceptual practices, urban studies, and social initiatives.
